Hey, look at me.....

I can make handlebars just like the other guys! OK, OK, I'm kidding here - no poison pen Emails. I would have liked to make them narrower in the center, but the risers need to be on a 5 1/4" center to plug into the back legs of the Denvers springer.

  1. Why not put a slight bend in the uprights towards the center, i.e. each other. I guess it'd be 2 bends, kind of like a shallow z. So that when done the tops are a couple inches away from each other in the center. That way you could make your top cross piece narrower, and I'd bet it'd look pretty cool too.

  2. I don't have a small enough 1" radius die to do that in the rise I have. The die set that would, is $150.00 for my Mid-America bender.

Besides, Elliot asked for 8" risers, and he wanted to slide the risers down into the legs if he wants to change the height after he rides it a bit. That's the reason I didn't put a tapered base on the risers where they go into the legs.
